RANDOM DRAW DOUBLES

They go every Tuesday after daylight savings time in March and run till Labor Day.  Weekly Doubles is a great opportunity to meet new folks & enjoy a more casual style of play.  Our official Doubles Season runs the Tuesday after Memorial Day till the Tuesday before Labor Day.  Sign-up is at 5:15 p.m. & Tee-off is at 5:45 p.m.  For a Total of $8 ($5 for entry,  $1 Ace Pool, $1 to the Club, and $1 to Bag of Bucks Closest-to-Pin (CTP).  The ace pool compounds for the season until somebody hits it with a $100 Reserve after $250 is reached.

 The way doubles works is.....you are randomly drawn a partner, and each of you will get a chance to throw from the same location every throw.  After each of you have thrown from the same location you and your partner may choose whose disc is in a better position to throw the next shot, thus your next shot is thrown from the spot you chose (just like "best ball" in golf).   Prizes are awarded to the top finishing teams, and the # of prizes will depend on turnout.  Closest-to-Pin (CTP) prizes are also up for grabs each week.  These are awarded to individuals on select holes, "that on their first throw from the Tee-pad are closest to the basket, after all groups have thrown".  

Points Scoring 

• Everyone receives 1 Point for Participating

• 1 Point is awarded for Every Team you beat

• 1 Point is awarded for every shot under par Whites (54) and Blues (57)

• 1 Point for each Closest-to-Pin (CTP)

• 25 Points for an "ACE" (Hole in One)

Cost and Point Scoring is agreed upon by the Club Members prior to the start of the Official Doubles Season.
